Job summary

Ideal candidates have CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and ICU/CCU experience; strong assessment, critical thinking and communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires California RN license plus current BLS (AHA) and ACLS.
• NIHSS certification and ABM/MAB within 60 days of hire are required.
• ICU/CCU experience preferred; strong assessment and critical thinking skills needed.

Responsibilities

• The Charge Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing activities and staff functions during their shift.
• Provides direct and indirect care in the ICU setting and serves as a resource person for staff.
• Monitors plan of care, coordinates with the Nursing Department Leadership, and ensures high-quality patient outcomes.
