Job summary

NWPX Infrastructure in Parkersburg, WV is seeking a Hydro Testing and Belling Operator. Under supervision, you will prepare pipe for hydro testing, perform hydro tests, and bellying per specifications while reading drawings and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Safety and quality are core to daily tasks. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred hydro/belling experience and about 1 year of pipe finish work; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preference given to candidates with hydro/belling experience.
• 1 year pipe finish experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and company policies and promotes a safe culture.
• Complies with OSHA safety requirements and wear PPE.
• Prepare pipe for hydro testing and perform hydro testing.
• Belling of pipe per specifications.
• Perform end preparation of pipe including bevels, miters and square cuts.
• Maintain paperwork for hydro and belling applications.
• Inspect and maintain machines and equipment.
• Read drawings and identify pipe for marking.
