Job summary

NY Creates seeks a skilled HVAC Technician for the night shift to support operation and maintenance of complex HVAC systems in a high-tech semiconductor R&D environment. The role ensures reliability of equipment supporting offices, labs and cleanrooms.

Shift is 7:00pm–7:30am (N1: Sun–Tue and every other Sat). Requires EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification and 5+ years of related mechanical work, or a high school diploma with 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• HVAC and mechanical operations and maintenance of heating, cooling, exhaust, and related systems
• Preventive maintenance; adhere to lock-out tag-out protocols
• Monitor facility alarms and controls; operate boilers, chillers, pumps, AHUs
• Support cleanroom and office environments; ensure system reliability and performance
• Occasional overtime; independent work expected
