Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Security Associate for the Hilton Milwaukee in downtown Milwaukee. You will help maintain safety for guests and staff, patrol the premises, monitor dispatch systems, and perform loss-prevention duties to ensure a secure environment.

The role requires flexibility to work overnights, weekends, and holidays, with strong English communication and prior security or hospitality experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work overnight shift.
• Knowledge of security and law enforcement practices preferred.
• Prior hospitality, guest service and/or security experience preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with all department management, staff, personnel, and general public.
• Ability to read/write in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work well both independently and with others as a team player and under pressure.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety for guests and associates while protecting property and assets.
• Patrol premises on foot.
• Operate a dispatch center with responsibilities for key control, fire alarm monitoring, and closed circuit television monitoring, answering routine and emergency calls for service, and dispatching call for service.
• Perform proactive and professional security, safety, and loss prevention practices.
• Investigate situations and conditions and write reports as necessary.
• Meet, greet, and assist guests and associates as needed in a professional and calm manner.
• Witness cash drops and monitor cameras.
• Perform lost and found functions.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
