Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, evidence-based inpatient medical care to admitted patients.
Collaborate with specialists, nurses and staff to implement treatment plans.
Monitor inpatients and adjust treatments to optimize outcomes.
Perform procedures as needed (e.g., central line, intubation, lumbar punctures).
Maintain accurate patient records and discharge summaries.
Communicate clearly with patients and families about diagnoses and care.
Participate in rounds, case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings.
Stay current with medical knowledge and best practices through ongoing education.
