HealthPartners in Minnesota is seeking a Watch Operating Engineer to operate and maintain hospital power-plant equipment, including boilers, chillers, and generators, on a union schedule. This role requires strong attention to logs, water testing, and preventive maintenance in a 40-hour weekly night shift.

The ideal candidate will hold a Minnesota 1st Class Grade C Engineer license (or train toward 2C+ with 270 probation) and be fluent in English, with the ability to work independently.

Qualifikationen

• Experience operating a stationary power plant is required.
• License to operate in Minnesota as 1st Class Grade C Engineer, with 2+ years preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow safety protocols.

Aufgaben

• Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, emergency generators, air compressors, vacuum pumps and building automation equipment.
• Keep accurate logs, perform water testing, and conduct preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Clean and paint the plant and equipment as required.
