Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to pass back ground check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, stairways, elevators and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Utilize cleaning techniques with a variety of cleaning devices and follow safety policies when handling chemicals.
• Complete daily cleaning schedule according to area needs and participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
