Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Illinois is seeking a Housekeeper to provide daily cleaning for patient rooms and hospital spaces. The role runs 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM on a full-time schedule with weekends and holiday rotation, and includes direct patient interaction as part of daily duties.

Daily Pay is available. The Housekeeper will perform routine janitorial tasks, assist with room set up, and ensure safe, clean conditions across patient care areas, contributing to a healthy hospital

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine janitorial and cleaning activities in patient, public and common areas.
• Performs discharge cleaning in inpatient rooms and prepares room for next admission.
• Performs room set up and changes as needed, including changing linens, cleaning, mopping and furnishing.
• Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedure.
• Notifies supervisor or manager of any equipment, furniture, or building fixtures that are in need of maintenance.
