Job summary

Amberwell Hiawatha is seeking a part-time housekeeping team member for the Hiawatha, KS location. The role requires cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining aseptic conditions in assigned areas, with PPE provided and HIPAA compliance expected.

Typical shift is 3pm to 11:30pm, with potential weekend, on-call, and holiday hours based on business needs. Education: high school diploma or GED preferred; prior housekeeping experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience with common housecleaning devices preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write and follow written and oral instructions; HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock work cart daily.
• Report unusual findings to the Supervisor.
• Report items needing repair to the Supervisor.
• Exhibit good ergonomic use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions according to specified formulas.
• Respond to pager system in a timely and courteous fashion.
• Clean and disinfect assigned areas with attention to detail.
• Complete and submit daily checklist to manager.
