North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to keep patient rooms, clinical areas, and offices clean and safe. You will perform daily and terminal cleaning, restock supplies, and support infection prevention according to hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Required ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; learn and follow cleaning routines with minimal supervision.

• Preferred medical or commercial cleaning experience, ideally in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, and offices; empty waste; restock supplies.
• Perform discharge/terminal cleaning including isolation rooms per protocol.
• Dust and damp-dust furniture and equipment; clean inside windows, blinds, vents, and high areas.
• Sweep, mop, buff/wax floors; move furniture/equipment as needed.
• Arrange rooms neatly and respond to cleaning requests.
• Follow infection-control and PPE procedures; report safety issues; deliver great customer service.
