Job summary

JMCGH in Paris, TN seeks a night shift environmental services worker to perform cleaning duties across assigned areas, ensuring a clean and aseptic environment.

You will interact with patients and families, follow established procedures, and report equipment or safety issues. Hours include 8-10 per day with weekends on/off as assigned.

This role requires on-the-job training and a positive attitude to maintain high occupancy conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Be able to follow written and oral instructions and to record assignments completed.
• Two weeks of on the job training in department.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas according to schedules and methods.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, restock supplies and maintain clean restrooms and offices.
• Identify and report equipment/malfunctions and assist in spill cleanups.
• Interact with patients, visitors and staff to provide quality housekeeping.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness and follow hospital policies.
