Job summary

Banner Health seeks a Night Housekeeping EVS Associate at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center to clean and sanitize patient areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. You will handle cleaning chemicals, push carts, and potentially work in morgue or COVID units while maintaining infection control standards.

The role requires weekend/holiday rotations, background check, and flu vaccination, with differential pay for weekend and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication with patients, staff and visitors.
• Familiarity with material safety data sheets and cleaning chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform dusting, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing per policy.
• Empty hampers, trash, and medical waste as required.
• Restock supplies in assigned areas, maintain departmental equipment.
• Log and protect equipment, report repairs as needed.
• Possible special projects like window or wall washing.
• Respond to questions from patients and staff, aim for high customer service.
• Work in assigned facility area under supervision.
