Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of experience in hospitality/medical housekeeping.
• One (1) year of experience operating housekeeping-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans environmental surfaces including furniture, beds, bathroom fixtures, windows, and walls following universal precautions.
• Refinishes floors and applies floor finish using machines.
• Responds to routine requests via pager.
• Shampoos furniture and carpet as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of universal precautions and related safety procedures.
• Disposes of hospital furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Removes, washes, and rehanging cubicle curtains and window treatments.
• Mops and dries rooms, hallways, stairs, bathrooms, and offices.
• Gathers and disposes of refuse and soiled linen following safety rules.
• Reports any needed repairs to hospital property/equipment.
