Job summary

UPMC Wellsboro is seeking a Full-Time Administrator on Duty to coordinate admission, discharge and transfer of patients and to provide leadership for staffing and throughput during the Evening/Night shift (7pm–7am). The role requires directing department leaders and acting as a hospital administrator during crises.

The role requires BSN or higher, RN licensure, and willingness to rotate weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• MSN or higher degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years clinical leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Admission/Discharge/Transfer (ADT) processes with clinical teams.
• Mentor staff and develop new preceptors; support learning.
• Apply evidence-based practices to improve patient throughput and safety.
• Lead in crisis situations and communicate with hospital leadership.
