Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide direct patient care to Hospice of Cincinnati patients under nurse supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide companionship, and follow safety procedures in a night-shift role at the Central Inpatient Unit in Blue Ash.

You may float to Anderson, Hamilton and Christ inpatient centers; mileage is reimbursed. Strong communication with the care team and adaptability are essential for this critical role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under the direct supervision of a nurse, including bathing, feeding, ambulation, companionship and emotional support.
