Job summary

Nelbud is hiring Commercial Hood Cleaning Technicians to clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems for restaurants and facilities throughout Connecticut. This is a physically demanding, overnight field position with paid training and a clear path for advancement.

New technicians begin in our 30-60-90 Day KEC Step Program, where you'll build technical skills and work toward higher pay as you complete training, testing, and milestones.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work overnight and varying schedules.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work at heights.
• Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ductwork, and exhaust fans.
• Remove grease buildup using pressure washers and specialized cleaning equipment.
• Travel to customer locations as part of a field-based crew.
• Protect customer work areas and maintain a clean jobsite.
• Follow company safety procedures and standards.
• Deliver professional, dependable service to our customers.
