Job summary

Stella Jones Corporation in Cordele, GA is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator 2 for the 3rd shift, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Operates a knuckleboom, wheel loader, or front-end loader to load, unload, and move materials around processing areas and storage zones.

The candidate should have heavy equipment experience, especially front-end loader or tractor, PIE certification, and a high school diploma or GED. Training to Mobile Equipment Operator 3 will be provided with safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating mobile heavy equipment, preferably in wood products.
• Must have front-end loader or tractor experience.
• PIE certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, sorts and transports materials.
• Moves materials to and from processing equipment, storage bins, and trucks.
• Operates lifting devices to move pallets and loads.
• Maintains and inspects mobile equipment and reports maintenance.
• Participates in safety program and keeps records of equipment operation.
