Job summary

Bituminous Roadways, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the night shift in Saint Paul, MN. The role covers inspection, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of heavy paving equipment to keep project sites running smoothly.

Candidates should be coachable, safety-conscious and team-oriented, with 2 years of mechanical training and/or a strong high school/GED background. Union benefits apply and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work around heavy machinery.
• Ability to read procedures and follow safety standards.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment.
• Keep equipment safe, reliable and ready for use in paving and grading operations.
• Follow established procedures and communicate priorities for repairs.
• Maintain accurate records and work with crew for safety and efficiency.

Education

High school education or GED equivalent.

2 years' experience and/or Votech / Mechanical Training
