Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Security Officer for the Buckeye, AZ location to protect patients, visitors and staff while maintaining a secure environment. You will patrol facilities, monitor alarms and assist with incident response, with a focus on customer service and safety.

This role requires responding to emergency codes, coordinating with law enforcement, and producing detailed security reports. Night shifts with an 18% differential are included.

Qualifications

• Must maintain required security certifications.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
• Must demonstrate the ability to write comprehensive security reports.
• Must successfully complete Banner Health Basic Officer Academy.
• Must possess strong verbal communications skills.
• Must qualify and maintain proficiency with assigned non-lethal weapons.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency codes for assistance and control.
• Patrol facilities and grounds to maintain a safer environment.
• Assist personnel, patients, and visitors; mediate disputes and conduct interviews.
• Monitor alarms and perform access control; secure doors as needed.
• Prepare and maintain security logs and written reports.
• Escort individuals when required for security purposes; monitor parking and traffic.
