Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in Merced, CA is hiring a Multi-Purpose Clerk - Night Crew to perform stocking, pricing, unloading shipments, and other overnight duties. You will ensure product presentation, maintain safety standards, and help with inventory accuracy while working the graveyard shift.

This role requires the ability to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods, and work flexible nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months or equivalent retail experience
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 85 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, display, pricing and face product
• Break down loads including unwrapping, rotating and packing boxes
• Order writing, item to tag integrity
• Report all risks or safety issues to management
• Ensure proper temperature in cases/coolers
• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Minimal checking on cash register
• Sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, and refrigerated areas
