Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company in Concord, NC is seeking a Grinder Operator for our manufacturing operation. You will complete daily shift reports, meet daily grinding goals, perform quality checks, and log results with precise timing and gas-off periods.

You will coordinate with roasters and packaging, report nonconforming product, and stay aligned with the Scheduler to maintain the daily schedule. Night shift is a 12-hour rotation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating computer automated controls in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to multi-task across tasks and priorities.
• Understanding of OSHA, GMPs and SQF requirements in a food manufacturing environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good basic math skills.
• Forklift/Pallet Jack certification, or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily shift reports.
• Meet and consistently attain daily grinding production goals.
• Perform quality checks with testing instruments and record results.
• Record all grind results in logs and report.
• Record start and stop time of each grind, and gas-off period timings.
• Communicate with roaster and packaging operators regarding progress on daily schedule.
• Report all nonconforming product to shift supervisor or quality assurance lab.
• Communicate regularly with Scheduler.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
