Job summary

Canteen, a division of Compass Group USA, is hiring a Grill Cook at Bridgestone in Wilson, NC. The full-time night shift runs Friday through Sunday, 9:00 pm to 9:00 am, with a pay rate of $13.50 per hour. Online applications are accepted only; prior grill experience is required.

As part of a team, you will prepare menu items at the grill station, ensure quality and safety, and support guest service throughout service periods. Benefits are available to associates.

Qualifications

• Previous 1 year of grill cooking experience required.
• Ability to prepare items quickly and accurately at grill station.
• Experience following food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portion control.
• Maintains sanitation standards in assigned work areas and equipment.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
