Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Brenham, Texas is seeking a Welder to work under the direction of the Production Supervisor. The role involves set-up and assembly of products through production welding and tack welding. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar manufacturing environment or relevant technical training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• 6 months previous experience welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, and/or graduation from a Technical Training Program.
• Must pass GMAW 1-G flat plate and/or rotational weld test.

Responsibilities

• Perform production welding and tack welding to pole shafts using GMAW process.
• Interpret drawings to determine parts needed for assembly.
• Utilize jigs for cutting holes and assembling components.
