Cardinal Glass Industries, Inc. in Mount Airy, NC seeks a Glass Tempering Technician for a full-time night shift. You will operate and assist production machinery, inspect glass for defects, and help maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manually lift up to 50 lbs of materials in a fast-paced production environment.
• Mark or tag identification on glass products.
• Inspect glass for visual defects and tolerances.
• Observe equipment, perform minor adjustments, report malfunctions.
• Operate machinery or assist machine operators.
• Record product information using measuring tapes and quality software.
• Follow 5S procedures to maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Cross-train into at least three production areas.
• Maintain regular attendance per policy.
• Communicate information to coworkers, supervisors, and management.
