Job summary

Hachette Book Group in Indiana is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, replenish, label and locate cartons for customer fulfillment in an open carton/conveyor environment. You will operate Pick-To-Voice technology, WMT and RF units to ensure accuracy and speed.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs or ladders to a height of 4 ft, and standing for up to 8 hours. A high school diploma is required; training covers WMS/WMT systems and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Familiarity with WMS/WMT technologies is a plus.
• Experience with Pick-To-Voice technology is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 1-day turnaround of orders per supervisor goals.
• Master Pick-To-Voice and WMT technologies and report issues.
• Report system problems and damages to supervisor or coordinator.
• May work in groups to shift unfinished tasks to other team members.
• Operate Walkie Rider and/or Stand-up Counterbalance equipment.
