Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) in Fargo, ND is seeking a Freight Handler for a night shift to load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts. You will document freight with handheld scanners and ensure inbound freight is stickered and staged correctly.

The role requires at least 6 months forklift experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently (90 pounds occasionally).

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 90 pounds.
• At least six months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or hand cart.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight through the network.
• Identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight accurately.
• Verify the condition of freight to meet quality standards.
