Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions Inc in Fargo, ND is seeking a Freight Handler for a 10:00pm-6:00am shift. This safety-sensitive role loads and unloads freight from trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, or handcart, with proper training and certification.

Responsibilities include using handheld scanners to track freight, identifying and staging inbound freight, and verifying condition against quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 90 pounds.
• At least six months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or hand carts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight through our network.
• Identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight; verify freight condition against quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
