Job summary

Midwest Food Services is seeking a Freezer Forklift Operator in Chicago, IL. You will rotate through forklift operation, selecting, loading, cycle counting, and quality inspection while maintaining safety and teamwork.

Training pays $19/hr for the first four weeks, with a base rate of $17.50/hr and potential earnings up to $26.00/hr+ with performance bonuses. Work hours are 6:30 PM–2:00 AM, Sunday–Friday, at 6500 W 51st Street.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Minimum 2 years RF scanning experience.
• Minimum 2 years inventory experience.
• Minimum 1 year forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to work in a -30 degree environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and pallet jack in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Perform selecting and loading tasks to meet daily quotas.
• Conduct cycle counting and quality inspections.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness following OSHA and SDS standards.
• Adapt to multiple roles and work in a cold environment.
