Precision Castparts is seeking an entry-level Forming Operator in Tukwila, WA to perform basic forming tasks under supervision. You will use templates, jigs and fixtures, read prints, and verify part dimensions with simple hand tools, contributing to production while building strong mechanical aptitude.

The graveyard shift (9:00 PM–5:30 AM) offers a $2.50 per hour shift allowance and requires reading English instructions, basic shop math, and safe operation of equipment to meet customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of shop math.
• Ability to use basic computer functions.
• Ability to read and understand English to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and manuals.

Responsabilités

• Performs basic operation of equipment to produce to rate and meet quality standards.
• Sets up and operates forming, deburring, manual heading, and automated heading machines to create sleeves or other products.
• Operates automated sleeve machine and changes rolls as needed.
• Monitors machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary and stops machines if issues occur.
• Performs lubing, bluecoat, gritblast, sleeve washing, or packaging as needed.
• Follows all company safety policies (including proper PPE and machine operation) and maintains an organized workspace (6S).
• Other duties as assigned.
