Job summary

Mayhew Tools is seeking a qualified assembler to operate swager cells (#4/#5 Fenns), induction heating units, and various presses. The role requires precise tool setup, inspection of tool dimensions, and matching tools to prints on shop packs. You will use calipers to ensure precision while adhering to strict safety and PPE guidelines.

All duties are performed in a fast-paced warehouse environment with 12-hour shifts. Rates depend on experience, with an overnight shift differential offered.

Qualifications

• Read diagrams and follow instructions with high accuracy.
• Keep safety rules and PPE strictly as required.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate swager cells including setup and operation of #4 and #5 Fenns.
• Set up, operate and shut down induction heating units.
• Set up and operate clip press, bend press and stamp press.
• Inspect quality and dimensions of all tools.
• Match tool to print on shop packs and forge precisely per tool specs.
• Use calipers and measuring tapes to ensure precision.
