Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a motivated forklift operator to help move merchandise and support daily club operations in Burlington, NC. You will load and unload deliveries, inspect items for accuracy, and ensure pallets are prepared and transported safely throughout the club.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to work with teams, and a willingness to assist Members with locating products. Training and certification are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner and inspects prior to use.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Receives merchandise and inspects it against delivery notes for accuracy.
• Lifts, reserves and drops pallets and prepares pallets for storage or shipment.
• Transports merchandise and pallets to appropriate areas using a pallet jack when needed.
• Stocks and rotates general and food merchandise; maintains organization.
• Keeps the club neat and participates in daily openings/closings and maintenance tasks.
• Greets Members and provides prompt, courteous service; helps locate merchandise.
