Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Quincy, MA is seeking a forklift operator to join our team. You will stock and move merchandise, load and unload delivery trucks, and ensure safe, organized club operations while delivering great member service.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, pallet handling, inventory replenishment, and assisting with daily club openings and closings. Our benefits package supports health, retirement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspects and prepares delivery trucks for unloading.
• Receives all merchandise and materials delivered to the club.
• Lifts, reserves and drops pallets of merchandise to and from overhead steel and sales floor.
• Transports merchandise and pallets using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stocks, rotates, and stores general and food merchandise.
• Ensures club is neat, clean, and organized; performs maintenance tasks as needed.
