Job summary

PepsiCo in Lima, OH is seeking a forklift operator for evening shifts (6:00 pm to 6:30 am) to unload transport trucks and store finished products. The role includes loading pallets, housekeeping duties, and passing a forklift skills test. You will maintain safe storage, reload trucks, and ensure cleanliness.

Weekend or holiday work may be required. Responsibilities include daily pre-trip inspections, GMP compliance, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (21+ if CDL required).
• Must pass physical capabilities test and Forklift Driving Skills test.
• Valid U.S. CDL license if required; DOT physical and DOT Road Test when applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift in a safe and orderly manner.
• Receive and store incoming items according to warehouse standards.
• Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items.
• Maintain cleanliness in the assigned area (yard and warehouse).
• Reload route trucks promptly and safely.
• Sort and store partial cases of products returned on route trucks.
• Maintain records of daily checklists (pre-trip inspections).
• Comply with GMP, safety, audit and food safety standards.
• May work with production equipment and associated technologies.
• Meet performance and productivity standards.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
