Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role involves loading/unloading, staging goods, and maintaining safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Pay is $20.31 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential. 3rd shift operates Sunday–Thursday from 11 pm to 7 am; benefits include PTO from Day 1, health coverage, 401(k) after 90 days, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Loads and unloads trailers
• Opens and closes dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Complete daily logs
• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
