Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift in a US-based facility, 10:00 pm–6:00 am, to load, unload, and move materials through dock, staging, and storage areas with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of sit-down forklift experience, can obtain certification, and are adept with RF scanners and warehouse management systems; background checks and drug screens apply.

Qualifications

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load/unload and transport materials.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections; ensure equipment is safe.
• Experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Forklift Operator 3rd shift is responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse and loading dock areas. This role ensures safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods to support daily logistics operations. The hours of this role are 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts preferred
• Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
