Job summary

Nature's Path is seeking a Material Handler - Nights to safely operate a standup forklift and support packaging lines in a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. The role includes safety checks, documentation, quality coordination, and adherence to GMP and Lean initiatives.

Night shift pays $22.38/hr plus a $1.50 premium after 6 PM, with benefits like health, PTO, and a 401K. High school diploma or GED and 6–12 months forklift experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6–12 months forklift experience, standup forklift required.
• Production experience preferred.
• Proven problem solving ability with mechanical understanding.
• Experience working independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math and computer skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently per plant rules.
• Perform safety checks on the forklift and log discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment; report safety issues promptly.
• Follow all Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
• Ensure continuous production operation of packaging lines and follow procedures.
• Ensure proper paperwork and materials are documented (pallets, WIP, labels).
• Coordinate with QA to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Adhere to GMPs and Lean initiatives.
• Label and stage finished goods for shipping.
• Maintain an accurate operator's log.
