Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking Material Handlers in Chambersburg, PA to join a safety-focused, team-oriented warehouse operation. The role involves forklift operation, order picking, packing, and shipping duties in a fast-paced distribution environment with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with a $1.00 per hour premium for third shift work. Schedule is Sunday-Tuesday 6:00 pm–6:00 am and Wednesday 6:00 pm–12:00 am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Meet performance targets as defined by contract measures.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, and staging of products; load and unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
