Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate for its Jasper, TN facility. This 3rd shift role requires operating forklifts and other equipment, picking and packing orders, and staging products for shipment in a safe, efficient manner.

Responsibilities include inventory and cycle counts, crane/crate operations, and adherence to safety policies. Benefits start day one with multiple coverage options and company-wide development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/G.E.D.
• Six months’ experience as a Warehouse Associate 2 or related experience preferred
• Must possess a thorough understanding of the Company distribution process and procedure

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized equipment (forklift and multi-directional equipment) safely
• Correctly fill orders from inventory
• Stage product in preparation for shipment
• Review dispatch log and load flat beds accordingly
• Set-up materials for crate-building
• Provide production with product storage racks
• Change batteries and gas tanks on forklifts and report maintenance needs
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment
• Perform warehouse maintenance and housekeeping
• Train on paperwork and bills of lading
• Train for inventory and cycle counts
• Train on BPCS
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required
• Attend scheduled staff meetings with the Distribution Supervisor
• Maintain an accurate time card daily
• Active participation in plant safety programs
