Job summary

Southeast Container, Inc. is a leading PET bottle and preform manufacturer serving Coca-Cola bottling systems across the East Coast and Midwest. The Lift Truck Operator will manage warehousing and shipping tasks, ensuring products are correctly stored and loaded for dispatch.

Responsibilities include operating palletizing equipment, maintaining labeling accuracy, and coordinating with maintenance on equipment issues while upholding SQMS standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Comfortable working in warehouse conditions.
• Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance.
• Able to follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment and perform duties related to warehousing and shipping.
• Ensure unit loads leaving the palletizer are properly secured and labeled.
• Provide pallets, frames, and sheets to palletizers and reload straps.
• Notify maintenance for equipment malfunctions with detailed information.
• Store bottles and preforms correctly and ensure proper labeling and packaging according to SQMS standards.
• Load and unload preforms and bottles for shipment; verify non-damaged items.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety policies; inspect fork trucks and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
• Comply with product safety, legality, regulatory, and quality standards.
