Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in Norfolk, NE is seeking a forklift operator to join our production and warehouse team. The role involves moving materials, supporting production lines, and ensuring safe storage of products.

A reliable, safety-minded person who works well in a fast-paced environment will excel in this position. Typical shift is 5:00pm-5:00am, Monday through Friday, with a competitive hourly pay including a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good math skills and accurate record-keeping abilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move finished goods and raw materials throughout the facility.
• Supply production lines with materials needed to keep operations running efficiently.
• Store finished products in the warehouse while maintaining proper stock rotation.
• Scan barcodes, track inventory movements, and complete required documentation.
• Inspect materials and products for quality concerns and report issues as needed.
• Transport pallets, packaging materials, and other warehouse supplies.
