Job summary

R+L Carriers in West Columbia, SC is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 1:00 AM–9:30 AM). Starting wage at $22.33 per hour, full-time on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

You will move freight of various types safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet. The role requires forklift experience, ability to read manifests and operate a computer display, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Move all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
