Job summary

General Mills Buffalo Plant is seeking a Night Shift Quality Assurance/Control professional to perform analytical testing and data interpretation. You will approve products against specifications, manage holds, and support food safety programs and SPC analysis.

The role requires leadership in sensory panels and collaboration with operators to maintain quality and productivity on a rotating, night-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year in Quality Assurance/Control or similar lab role.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Willingness to learn and support FSQ tasks in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of ingredients, packaging and finished products.
• Enter data into CSIS/department systems and approve products against specs.
• Troubleshoot out-of-spec results and manage holds with sound risk decisions.
• Lead shift sensory panels ensuring products meet sensory requirements.
• Coordinate IRM, SPC control charts and equipment calibrations.
