Job summary

Ocean Spray seeks a Quality Technician for the night shift to work with the operations team in Middleboro, MA. You will ensure food quality standards are met with no exceptions, performing QA testing, analysis and equipment calibration to support production schedules.

The role requires detail orientation, teamwork, and strong communication to train staff and resolve quality issues while maintaining safety and compliance across the plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's or Associate's in Food Science or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years production/manufacturing experience or 2+ years in a lab setting.
• Food/beverage industry experience is a plus.
• Strong math, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient computer, word processing and email skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to identify trends and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality testing and analysis to ensure production quality meets standards.
• Train and support manufacturing personnel in quality systems.
• Initiate problem-solving for quality parameter issues.
• Maintain food safety and quality records and practices.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and operate lab equipment.
• Perform QA verification of cleaned equipment and support sanitation.
• Perform Positive Release duties and micro testing when required.
• Support investigations and product holds as needed.
