Job summary

Simmons Prepared Foods Inc seeks a reliable team member for the Further Product Tech VB night shift. You will learn and rotate through packer, scaler, styler and grader roles to maintain line speeds and product quality.

The job requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a cold, noisy production area. You’ll participate in team activities and uphold company policies while coordinating with colleagues to ensure efficient packaging and processing.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and the ability to make good decisions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a production environment.
• Ability to understand and follow established operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn, perform and rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader roles to maintain line speeds.
• Pack and weigh products, pull bones, inspect and remove nonconforming items.
• Participate as a team member and support continuous improvement and lean practices.
• Adhere to Simmons’ operating systems and company policies, and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Move and handle product in a cold, wet, noisy environment, up to 50 pounds as needed.
