Job summary

Northern Gold Foods is seeking Production Operators at our Junction City, Oregon location to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and sanitize production lines for breakfast and granola products. You will follow written recipes, measure ingredients, verify packaging specs, perform sanitation, and record quality checks while coordinating with the Production Lead.

Qualifications

Detail oriented; able to follow written recipes and procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Able to receive and implement feedback from leadership.
English reading and writing fluency required for job tasks and safety documentation.
Food manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
Forklift experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and sanitize production lines.
Work with Production Lead/Supervisor to ensure lines run properly.
Operate equipment such as mixers, scales, labelers, ovens, cooling tunnels, and high-speed packaging machinery.
Measure ingredients according to written recipes.
Ensure packaging materials meet customer specifications.
Perform sanitation of equipment, parts, and surrounding area.
Record quality checks and follow GMP requirements.
Report safety concerns to supervision; troubleshoot as needed.
Collaborate with peers and leadership; participate in special projects.
