Stratas Foods is seeking an Operator I in Hillside, NJ to run filling, capping, labeling, sealing and related equipment in a fast-paced food facility. You will monitor quality, adjust machines, perform changeovers, and document downtime and defects while adhering to GMP and safety policies.

The role requires a High School Diploma, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to work independently in a team environment with strong multi-tasking skills and resilience under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, ready-to-eat food facility is a plus.
• Ability to operate independently and stay motivated.

Responsabilités

• Operate filling, capping, labeling, sealing and related equipment to meet production schedules.
• Follow GMP, safety rules, and PPE requirements; report downtime and defects.
• Record downtime in CDC system and communicate machine issues to maintenance/supervisor.
• Perform machine adjustments, changeovers, and minor maintenance with coordination to maintenance personnel.
• Assist mechanics during preventative maintenance and service work per Lockout/Tagout procedures.
