Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a Clayton area manufacturing facility. This direct-hire role operates a 6pm-6am Saturday through Tuesday shift, focusing on keeping production lines and plant equipment running smoothly.

Candidates should have 2-4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, knowledge of OSHA, cGMP, and food safety standards; experience with boilers, HVAC, and PLC troubleshooting is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of OSHA, cGMP, and food safety standards.
• Experience with boilers, air compressors, HVAC systems, and mixing equipment is a plus.
• Metal fabrication and welding experience a plus.
• Food/beverage manufacturing background preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production and facility equipment.
• Maintain conveyor systems in an automated environment.
• Weld and fabricate replacement parts as needed.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment or system failures.
• Troubleshoot boilers, air compressors, HVAC systems, mixing equipment, packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs.
