Job summary

The Miriam Hospital, part of Brown University Health, seeks a Registered Nurse to advocate for patients and apply the nursing process under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities include recognizing deviations, documenting interventions, coordinating with LPNs and CNAs, and maintaining a safe, compassionate care environment. Requires RI RN licensure; CPR on hire; BSN preferred; night shift 7pm–7:30am.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
• Graduate of a nursing program with current RI RN license; BSN preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes and reports deviations from patient care and documents nursing interventions.
• Implements nursing plan of care and evaluates patient outcomes.
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and family involvement.
• Assists with prioritization, emergencies, and collaboration with health team.
