Job summary

Tekni-Plex, Inc. in Chandler, AZ seeks a Flexo Printing Machine Operator for night shift to run and maintain printing lines. You will be responsible for setting up presses, preparing plates and rollers, and ensuring color accuracy and overall print quality.

The role requires monitoring production, documenting results, and adhering to GMP, HACCP, and safety guidelines while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of printing machines.
• Prepare and mount printing plates and rollers.
• Mix and match inks to achieve desired color specifications.
• Determine quantities required for print jobs.
• Aligns and configures machinery.
• Inspect random production samples to evaluate quality of printing.
• Conduct regular quality checks on printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, and defects.
• Ensure printed materials meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues with printing machines and make basic repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing machines.
• Draft and submit reports for daily production totals.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and quality control data.
• Maintain a clean area around printing machinery.
• Register colors on printing and control of scrap material.
• Following instructions on GMP Requirements.
• Follow Cardinal Safety Rules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Keep and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Follow all Safety rules
• Follow all HACCP and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)
• Assist in training coordinated by HR where participation is needed
• Report any work-related incident
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain an attitude of safety awareness and responsibly.
