Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is looking for a skilled fleet service technician to service DOT and client vehicles at our North Dartmouth client site. The role requires performing regular preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire services, and diagnostics in a shift from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Ideal candidates will have DOT brake certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days), 2 years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass DOT physical requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience performing DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and brake services.
• Must have DOT Brake Certification, or be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet DOT physical requirements, including being at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation.
• Advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
